What is powder coating?

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied in a dry powder form. It's usually used to create a hard and durable finish as opposed to conventional paint.

Paint vs Powder

Now we're not here to down talk conventional paint. It has its place and purpose just like everything else. Powder coating, on the other hand, has a few advantages:
1. Transfer efficiency of paint is roughly 30-35%, while powder is around 60-70%. 
2. Powder coating contains no solvents or volatile organic compounds, making it environmentally friendly. 
3. Powder coating is usually applied twice as thick as paint, insuring it's durability. It also has the ability to bend and flex with its base material making it the optimal choice for your coating needs.

What sets us apart?

What makes us different is the care and time we put into pretreatment. Most companies will just sandblast an object and then move on to the coating process. We use a steam unit that ensures three things: finished appearance, adhesion of powder, and rust prevention.

What's your color?

A common misconception of powder coating is that we're limited to flat or matte finishes. In reality we can produce any finish of your liking including chrome and gloss.
